For the third consecutive year, Finland is the world’s happiest country, according to the UN World Happiness Report. Norway has dropped from third to fifth place.

All the Nordic countries are in the top seven. Denmark comes in second place ahead of Switzerland, while Iceland is in fourth. Sweden is in seventh place.

The twenty happiest countries are still the same as last year, but there are changes in their ranking within the top 20.

According to the report, Afghanistan is the least happy country in the world. A total of 153 countries are included in the report.

The UN report is based on an average of surveys conducted between 2017 and 2019.

  1. biggest problem in norway is that healthcare employees are less in number. In emergency , one has to wait for long hours in hospital. In clinic, one has to wait for atleast 2 weeks to get appointment with doctor. This is pathetic situation
