The airline Flyr reported a loss of NOK 279.5 million in the second quarter.
The company states that it transported over 735,000 passengers from April to June. Flyr had a turnover of NOK 339 million in the said period.
Managing director Tonje Wikstrøm Frislid says the quarter has been characterized by capacity growth and the launch of new routes, as well as the recruitment and training of new employees.
“We went from four planes in the winter season to ten planes in operation this summer. We opened 44 routes to 38 destinations and added around 150 new colleagues, which obviously involves significant investment costs,” Frislid stated.
