Last year, former Statoil chief Helge Lund earned NOK 500 million after taxes. Lund is, among other things, chairman of the board of the British oil and gas company BP.

Helge Lund’s wholly owned company, Inkerman, had a profit before tax of NOK 705 million last year, E24 writes.

650 of the 705 million Lund earned in 2021 came as direct sales income. Lund, among other things, conducts consulting activities through his company.

The remaining NOK 50 million came from returns on investments that Lund has made.

Lund was CEO of Statoil from 2004 to 2014. Today he is the chairman of both the oil and gas company BP and the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
