The union representing Norway’s Norwegian cabin crew in France is announcing strikes from Wednesday this coming week.

The union L’Union des navigants de l’aviation civilians (Unac) is planning to take out 158 Norwegian air employees in its strike from 24 to 26 April, writes E24 quoting a press release to French media.

The strike will hit the airline’s staff based at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The aim of the strike is, among other things, to raise the employees’ salary level and to improve their access to health services.

There is also a risk of strike at SAS next week. In early April, negotiations between SAS and pilots throughout Scandinavia were broken. According to the pilots, the breach is due to disagreement about wages and lack of planning of working hours.

If mediation does not occur, there may be SAS strikes from April 26.
