Half a million jobseekers have received support from NAV during the corona crisis

500,499 jobseekers have received support from NAV since week 11, when Norway implemented a number of corona measures.

Figures for weeks 11 to 37 have been observed from NAV.

In addition, 22,429 people have received compensation as freelancers and self-employed.

In all, from week 12, which was the week after the major corona measures came into force, 492,000 people have had their applications for unemployment benefits completed. Many received advances on unemployment benefits during the spring. In all, 530,000 people have applied for unemployment benefits during the period.
