Hotels in some Norwegian cities have had a higher occupancy rate in July compared with last year, but hotels around Oslo have had less guests than usual.

This is according to data from Wiederstrøm Hotel Consulting.

The hotels in Haugesund, Kristiansund, Bodø, Trondheim, Stavanger, and Kristiansand have had more occupancies in the first 14 days of July in comparison to the same period last year.

In Kristiansand, the hotels had an occupancy rate of 95 percent, while Lillehammer  and Kristiansund had 90 percent.

Hotels at Gardermoen, on the other hand, had an occupancy rate of about 15 percent. Hotels in Oslo had a little over 30 percent and Bergen at 50 percent.
