From 2021, Hurtigruten will deploy three ships on expedition cruises along the Norwegian coast. Among other things, this means hiring between 250 and 300 new Norwegian seafarers.

This is what Hurtigruten says on Wednesday.

The three ships are taken out of regular traffic on the Bergen-Kirkenes coast route when Hurtigruten will share these routes with the Havila Coast route from 2021. The ships will instead sail expedition cruises along the Norwegian coast starting in Bergen, Dover in the United Kingdom, and Hamburg in Germany.
