Two people have suffered minor injuries after the drive belt on the electric bicycle Sladda tore while they were riding. Therefore, the retail chain is asking customers to return the bicycle and get their money refunded.
The bicycle drive belt can suddenly break, which can lead to the tire locking and causing a fall. Ikea has received eleven reports of such events, where two of the cases have led to minor injuries, the retail chain announces in a press release Thursday.
Those who have bought the bicycle please stop using it, take it to any Ikea department store and get the entire purchase amount refunded. They will also get the money back for any accessories they have purchased.
