In March, Norway registered the highest petrol prices in over a year

The petrol price in March averaged NOK 15.59 per liter. It is the highest average price since February last year and the highest March price ever.

In February last year, the average price of lead-free 95 octane was NOK 15.60 per liter, according to Statistics Norway (SSB).

Since November last year, the price of petrol has increased by more than NOK 2.

In March, the average price of diesel was NOK 14.58 per liter, a decrease of 15 øre from February.

A total of 72 million liters of car petrol and 244 million liters of auto diesel were sold in March, an increase of 10.8% and 7.0%, respectively, from March last year.
