Three weeks after its launch, the government’s package of initiatives for entrepreneurs and growing companies has provided loans and grants via Innovation Norway for over NOK 563 million.

The total of 566 applications are being distributed around NOK 207 million in loans and NOK 356 million in grants, the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries reports.

Compared to the funds Innovation Norway usually allocates, this is more than a doubling from the comparable time last year.

In total, the package is close to NOK 5 billion, and most schemes are relevant to entrepreneurs and growing companies.

Both the loans and grants are distributed across all counties and to a wide range of businesses and industries . Inland, Trøndelag and Viken are the three counties that have been granted the most applications.
