Several insurance companies confirmed that they will cover the cancellations to countries and regions that are now red after the government’s press conference on Wednesday.

From midnight Saturday evening on the 15th of August, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against any unnecessary travel to Iceland, Cyprus, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, the Faroe Islands, and some regions in Denmark and Sweden.

Both Gjensidige and If have now confirmed that they will help cover cancellations from these countries and regions.

According to If, the travel insurance will work in the usual way if you stay in countries or regions that now go from green to red.
