The pilots of Lufthansa have no plans to end the strike in the near future, said a spokesman for the pilot association Cockpit.

– We have not set a date for when we will end the strike, says Joerg Handwerg.
Lufthansa pilots went on strike on Wednesday, the 14th in a row since wage negotiations broke down in April 2014.
Thousands of flight have been cancelled with major implications for travelers worldwide.
Norwegian travelers have also been affected. On Friday, twelve Lufthansa departures and arrivals are cancelled, while it is currently unclear how the strike will affect further.
Lufthansa pilots require an average wage increase of 3.66 percent per year, also for the last five years.
