Many postpone home sales and purchases
Half of those planning to buy or sell housing have postponed this because of the corona epidemic, according to a new survey.
Before the corona epidemic, 12 percent of the population planned to buy or sell property in the next few months. Half of these have now postponed the plans, according to Norwegian Corona Monitor from Opinion.
Only 4 per cent believe prices will rise next month, while 59 per cent believe they will fall.
“Norwegians’ expectations of housing prices are quite clear. A clear majority believe in falling house prices in the next month. Those expecting an increase can be counted on one hand,” says Ola Gaute Aas Askheim at Opinion.
