Personal finances cause great concern for many young adults in Norway, a recent survey shows.

InFact has conducted the survey on behalf of the newspaper Nationen. A total of 1,007 people participated in the survey, which was conducted just before Easter.

The participants were asked the question: Are you to any degree worried about your financial situation?

15% of the age group 18–29 answered that they are “very worried.” In comparison, almost one in ten in the age group 30-44 answered that they were “quite worried.”

The age group that cares least about their own finances is people over 65. Nearly half answered that they are “completely carefree,” while only 3.1% are “very worried.”

People in Northern Norway worry about their personal finances the most.
