Kristiansund had the strongest house price rise in the first quarter with an increase of 4.1 per cent. Vefsn had the weakest development, with a decline of 1.3 per cent.

The figures are from Real Estate Norway’s (Eiendom Norges) regional reports for the first quarter.

Overall, there is a moderate rise in house prices in most areas of the country. However, Real Estate Norway warns that the effect of the corona crisis is not reflected in the figures, as the number of homes sold in the last weeks of the quarter is small compared to the average in the quarter.
