New home sales in August were 40% higher than in August 2019. At the same time, August figures show that the implementation of new projects is being delayed.

New home sales in August were the fourth best August sales since the start of the 2010 monthly figures, according to residential construction developers.

Although August 2020 figures are good, new home sales so far this year are 14% lower than the corresponding period last year. Sales of small houses and single-family homes are 11 and 10% lower respectively, while sales of flats are 17% lower.

In terms of start-up, August 2020 was a better month than 2019, but at the same time, August 2019 was the lowest month on record.
