New record for Norwegian seafood exports
Norwegian seafood exports set a new record, beating the old 2019 export value record of NOK 107.2 billion.
“Before the first eleven months of the year are over, according to our calculations, we already surpassed the export value from the record year 2019 of NOK 107.2 billion.
“It makes me incredibly proud on behalf of the entire Norwegian seafood industry,” CEO of the Norwegian Seafood Council, Renate Larsen, said.
The official export figures will be published in a week.
In eleven years, seafood exports have more than doubled, from NOK 50 billion in 2010 to what will probably be well over NOK 110 billion at the end of the year, Larsen added.
