Norwegians have been saving in mutual funds more than ever, showing no signs of discouragement despite the Corona crisis.

The amount of Norwegians saving in mutual funds has increased by 4 percent compared to last year.

According to the Association of Mutual Funds, it is women who account for the most growth. The Association conducted a survey wherein 40 percent of Norwegians have money invested in mutual
funds.

This accounts for 1.7 million Norwegians over 18 years of age and is the highest proportion since the annuals survey started in 2001.
