Discovery and Telenor have signed a new distribution agreement on Tuesday. The deal also secures Discovery access to one million TV customers on the Dplay distribution.

The last time the parties were in negotiations, it ended with a long break and dark screens. The new agreement applies to the whole of the Nordic region and gives Norwegian Telenor and Canal Digital customers access to eleven Discovery channels, the Elite series, the Olympics and the streaming service Dplay.

“This is a forward-looking agreement that both we and Telenor can be pleased with,” TVNorge CEO Tine Austvoll Jensen and Discovery Networks told Campaign.
