Nine out of ten in top management positions are men

The leadership survey from 2015 reveals that the top management positions in Norwegian industry are still very male dominated. According to the survey, nine out of ten top executives in business are men.
The Leadership Survey 2015 has been made by SSB, based on guidelines from the Institute for Social Research,  the newspaper Klassekampen writes. The survey shows that 88 percent of the business leaders are men.
The survey from last year also shows that men occupies 73 percent of the top management positions in this country. This number, however, represents a sligh decrease from the last survey which was conducted in 2000, when the figure was 84 percent.
The cultural sector is the secor in this country where the number of male and female managers are most equal , with 58 percent male managers. Defense is the sector with the largest amount of males in top managment positions , with 93 per cent men.
