There was no concensus on a new agreement between Get and TV 2 by midnight Sunday, Telia Norway reports. As a result, 480,000 Get customers lost their TV2’s channels.

– We sent our latest offer to Get at 23:40, twenty minutes before the deadline, and were prepared to continue a negotiation of a new agreement beyond the deadline. But we heard nothing more from Get and at midnight they turned off our signals, says Organization and Communications Director Sarah Willand in TV 2 to NTB.

The deal being renegotiated regulates how much Get will pay for TV 2’s channels, so they can put the channels in the packages they sell to their customers. About 480,000 Get customers lost the signals from TV 2 at midnight.

– We are very sorry for all our customers. This is not the solution we wanted. We have worked hard to reach an agreement, but unfortunately we have not succeeded, ” says Pål Rune Kaalen, head of the private market in Telia Norway, which Get is part of.
