Nordea Norway reduces the fixed interest rate on loans with three, five and ten years of maturity. Fixed interest rates will now be lower than floating rates.

– “There has been a marked decline in the market for long-term interest rates in the recent period, related to uncertainty surrounding the corona virus. We have therefore chosen to reduce all of our fixed interest rates here,” says John Sætre, head of the retail market.

Fixed interest rates are reduced by 0.15 percentage points. The best fixed rate for customers in the customer group UNG or Premium is after being cut 2.70 percent with three and five years of bond and 2.80 percent with ten years of bond.

Around 5 percent, or 1 in 20 customers, choose fixed interest rates today.
