Norwegian and Chinese patent authorities agree on a cooperation agreement on patent applications.

The scheme means that the two countries can make use of each other’s patent scientific examination in case processing

On Thursday, the agreement was signed by Deputy Commissioner He Hua of the Chinese Patent Office CNIPA and Director of the Patent Office, Per A. Foss, during the general meeting of the international copyright organization WIPO in Geneva.

The Norwegian-Chinese Agreement enters into force on April 1, 2020.
