The use of home office has increased in recent years, and the Working Environment Act is being adjusted as a result, Minister of Labor and Social Inclusion Marte Mjøs Persen said on Friday.
“This means that the working time rules in the Working Environment Act are also applied to work from home,” Mjøs Persen noted.
The changes take effect from July 1, 2022, and include a clarification that requirements for the psychosocial work environment also apply when the employee works from home and that the same rules for working hours apply for work from home.
