Norway expects its GDP to increase by 3.8% next year

Total value creation in mainland Norway (GDP-mainland Norway) is expected to increase by 3.8% next year, against an expected increase of 3.9% this year.

The GDP forecast was revealed in a short review of the national budget for 2022 that the government published on Tuesday. 

In 2020, GDP-Mainland Norway had a decline of 2.5%. The mainland economy includes the Norwegian economy outside the oil and gas industry.
