The cash support scheme for companies in tourism and catering will be extended until February next year. In addition, the threshold for support is being lowered.

“The original requirement of a 40% drop in turnover is now lowered to 30%.

This is a targeted measure to include more catering companies in the scheme,” Minister of Trade and Industry Iselin Nybø (V) said when she announced the news at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

She hopes the change will help more companies in the catering industry to cope with the corona crisis.

The support level is also increased from 50 to 60%.

“This means that the scheme will cover up to 60% of the industry’s fixed unavoidable costs, depending on how high the fall in turnover is,” Nybø explained.
