Norway will open NASDAQ exchange
On Tuesday Norway – represented by Consul Elin Bergithe Rognlie – will get the honor of opening the NASDAQ exchange in New York.
Along with senior advisor Atle Leikvoll of Foreign Affairs the New York Consul will ring the bell that opens trading on the Nasdaq, the world’s second-largest stock market.
A delegation of representatives of eight Norwegian companies, which the government wants to promote, will also be accompanying the Consul and the senior advisor on their visit at the exchange offices in Times Square
