Norway sees significant increase in salmon prices

The export price of fresh salmon was NOK 64.69 per kilo last week. This is an increase of 8.1% compared with the previous week, according to Statistics Norway (SSB).

According to figures from the SSB, a total of 17,066 tonnes of fresh salmon were exported in week 28, a decrease of 7.3% from the week before.

Furthermore, 488 tonnes of frozen salmon were exported last week. The price of frozen salmon was NOK 58.02 per kilo.
