According to the Home Builders Association, sales of new homes in Norway in February are the lowest recorded for this month ever and are down 29% from 2021.

“The weak sales figures are a direct result of the sharp rise in prices for building materials and the uncertainty that the war in Ukraine entails,” the Home Builders’ Association leader Per Jæger stated.

In total, sales in the last three months are down 19% from the same period last year.
