Norwegian is selling five Airbus 320s. The transaction is expected to increase the company’s liquidity by 62 million US dollars, well over NOK 500 million.
According to a stock exchange announcement from the company, the aircraft are currently leased to another airline.
Norwegians’s subsidiary, Arctic Aviation Assets, signed an agreement for the sale of the five aircraft wrote Dagens Næringsliv newspaper.
The sale price was not stated in Norwegian’s announcement,but the company wrote that the transaction is expected to increase Norwegian’s liquidity by $62 million, around NOK 516 million, after repayment of debt.
The delivery of the aircraft is scheduled to take place during the fourth quarter.
