Norwegian airlines is in dialogue with the Norwegian authorities about potential new support for the airline.
This was stated by CFO Geir Karlsen during DNB Markets’ Consumer conference on Wednesday, according to E24.
“During the dialogue with the authorities when the pandemic broke out, we gave them a specific overview of what we needed”, Karlsen said.
“Now that we have entered into a dialogue with the authorities, we will produce a proposal for them”, he added.
The CFO emphasized that Norwegian does not know what the state thinks, and that there is no guarantee that the parties will reach an agreement.
