The Thai cabin crew in Norwegian have an absence rate of 1.5 percent, while Norwegian cabin crew have an absence of 15.8 per cent,  the newspaper Finansavisen writes.
–   The amount of sick leave in Norway is higher than in most other countries, and that is also the case for Norway and the amount of sick leave among the cabin crew is also relatively high in the industry in general,  press contact Lasse Sandakerveien-Nielsen in the airline says.
He believes special Norwegian regulatory framework explains the differences.
– Norwegian absence and sick pay schemes are very favorable compared to other European countries. In Sweden you have a short waiting period, while in Norway you receive full pay from the first day you are abstent because of illness, he says to Finansavisen.
