In August, 790,220 passengers flew with Norwegian, an increase of 152% from the same month of last year.

The company reports that they have increased their aircraft capacity by 129% compared with August last year and that earnings per kilometer have increased by 168% compared with last year.

“Norwegian operated an average of 38 aircraft in August. Demand continues to increase in line with the reopening of the market and easing of travel restrictions,” Norwegian wrote in a stock exchange announcement on Monday morning.

The filling level in the aircraft is on the rise again – it amounted to 72.6% in August, up by 10% since August last year.

“Everyone who works at Norwegian is pleased with the positive development. We have worked hard for this, and we will continue to deliver good customer experiences while we work to operate as efficiently as possible,” Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian, stated.
