The airline Norwegian had 1.4 million passengers in April, around 50% more passengers than the month before.
In addition, Norwegian’s capacity has increased by more than 50%, and a number of new routes opened.
“I am glad that the desire to travel continues to rise. We have increased the offer significantly in a short time and have at the same time strengthened earnings,” Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian, stated.
The company noted that punctuality was somewhat affected by capacity challenges at several airports but that more than 99% of all scheduled flights have nevertheless been completed.
