Norwegian salmon is not to blame for new Coronavirus infections in Beijing

This is stated by Minister of Fisheries and Seafood Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen (H) at a conference in Bergen on Wednesday, according to E24.

According to Reuters, Ingebrigtsen and the Chinese Embassy have come to this conclusion.

There was a meeting yesterday between the embassies of the two countries, according to E24.

In recent days, 137 new cases of infection have been detected in the Chinese capital, 31 of them in the last 24 hours. Several supermarkets on Monday removed salmon from the shelves after Coronavirus was found on an imported salmon cutting board, according to the Global Times newspaper.
