Norwegian will reopen its base at Stockholm Arlanda in April. The airline is now planning to set up 54 direct routes from the airport. It also plans to hire 270 new cabin crew.
The 54 direct routes to destinations in Europe are scheduled to be up and running before the summer, Swedavia, which is Sweden’s Avinor counterpart, noted in a press release.
The new cabin crew will be stationed at Arlanda when Norwegian reopens the base and will be the first employees the company has had in Stockholm since the pandemic broke out in 2020.
