Norwegians exports nearing 2019 levels
The value of Norwegian exports decreased slightly last week compared with the week before. However, the exports are now nearer 2019 levels than they were in May or June.
This according to the Statistics Norway (SSB) numbers.
Compared with the same period last year the export value is 3.8% lower the past four weeks this year. The decline is greater now than it was last week, however the value is now much closer to 2019 levels that it was in the early summer.
The exports of refined petroleum products was very low from April to July, but is now nearing last year’s levels. The past four weeks the value has been 10.8% lower than during the same period last year.
The fishing exports are 9.5% lower the past four weeks compared to last year.
