Oil production higher than expected

Just over 2 million barrels of oil, liquefied natural gas and condensate were produced on average per day on the Norwegian shelf in February. For oil, the amount was 1.5 percent over the forecast of NPD.
Oil production is 9 percent above what it was in February last year, according to preliminary production figures which were presented Thursday.
Liquids production was distributed between 1,619 million barrels of oil, 395,000 barrels of natural gas liquids (NGL) and 37,000 barrels of condensate on average per day.
Gas sales totaled 10.6 billion standard cubic meters (GSm3) in February, which is 0.5 GSm3 less than the previous month.
