A total of 1,005,380 passengers flew with Norwegian in November. That is a sharp increase from last year, but less than half of the number of passengers from the same month in 2019.

“The results show that we have adapted to customers’ travel needs well. Spain is one of the markets where we see a good development in bookings,” CEO Geir Karlsen stated in a press release from Norwegian.

“In the last month, we have made it even safer for customers to buy tickets by extending the possibility of one fee-free ticket change even for the most affordable tickets that are not flexible in the first place,” he added.

In November, Norwegian had 1,005,380 passengers, compared with 124,481 in November last year. In November 2019, before the pandemic left its mark on the industry, the company registered 2,283,821 passengers.

Compared to November 2020, the total capacity has increased by 541%, and passenger traffic has increased by 1,007%.
