Passenger increase for Vy
So far this year there have been just over 47 million train journeys undertaken with Vy in Norway, an increase of 2.8 per cent from the same period last year.
The figures for the first eight months of the year also include Gjøvikbanen, Vy advices.
“We are pleased that the train is the preferred mode of travel for ever more people,” says Arne Fosen, Director of passenger trains.
He hopes for continued growth when there will be more departures and more seats on the trains in Eastern Norway from December 15.
