Payment app Vipps not working
On one of the year’s busiest shopping days the popular payment application Vipps stopped operating.
Over two million users were affected by technical problems with the app on Saturday when it crashed, reported E24.
– We are having a problem with the Vipps app. we made corrections in programming, but we have not been told when the service will be up and running again. The problems arose at 2:15pm on Saturday, said Communications Vidar Dalsbø of DNB.
The bank’s payment application was launched eighteen months ago. Vipps allows users to transfer money to each other using a phone number instead of the account number.
