People can get out of cars on ferries again

The ferry company Fjord1 has canceled some of the measures that they introduced on its ferries in March. Passengers now do not have to sit in their cars during the crossing.

From Friday, passengers can again sit in the passenger lounges aboard the ferries, under the condition that they follow the national advice of keeping distance from others.

At the same time, the self-service kiosks are reopened on the Arsvågen-Mortavika in Rogaland and Anda-Lote in Vestland routes.

By May 1, the company will also consider opening the self-service kiosks at several of the larger ferry connections, as well as working to find solutions to open the rest of the kiosks on the company’s ferries.
