Around 1.4 million passengers traveled with SAS in March, the highest number since the pandemic broke out in March 2020.

That is an increase of over 50% from February, and capacity increased by 30%, the company stated on Thursday.

The number of passengers in March is an increase of 360% from the same month in 2021. SAS also increased capacity by 190% compared to March of 2021.

“We continue to scale up the business and increase capacity for this summer’s high season, also due to increasing sales,” CEO Anko Van der Werff stated, noting that the company has added more flights to destinations in the Mediterranean and North America.
