Prices will be increased for all ticket types at Ruter, as a result of the increase in prices of services elsewhere in society. The change will take place on January 26th, 2020.
“Ticket revenues are important for us to maintain today’s offer, and therefore we are adjusting our prices in line with the cost trend in the rest of society,” says Bernt Reitan Jenssen, CEO of Ruter.
Prices increase by 3 per cent for all ticket types. This means that a single ticket for one zone, which currently costs NOK 36, will be more expensive by 1 Krone.
Ticket revenues account for over half of Ruter’s total revenue and return in full to the public transportation system.
