On Monday afternoon, the Oslo Stock Exchange stopped all trading in relation to the salmon companies NRS, NTS, Frøy, and Salmar.

After that, Salmar announced it wanted to buy NTS for NOK 15.1 billion.

This is a voluntary offer from Salmar to buy all outstanding shares in NTS, writes E24.

The offer of NOK 15.1 billion is the highest bid that the company has received so far. Mowi has previously announced a bid of NOK 13.8 billion.
