Sanctions: Yara stops purchases from suppliers in Russia
As a result of sanctions against Russia, Yara has suspended all purchases from suppliers related to Russian sanctioned entities and individuals.
The decision comes as a result of further EU sanctions implemented on March 9, the company announced on Friday.
Yara announced on Friday that it is still assessing the detailed scope and impact of the sanctions.
In the report, the company writes that they are concerned about global food security and calls for the food supply chains to be protected and dependence on Russia reduced.
