2.9 million passengers traveled with SAS in June. The figure is the highest for a single month in the company’s history.
It does not seem that the SAS strike at the end of April-May has had any major impact on the customers’ confidence in the company.
The increase in passenger numbers is still only 0.3 percent compared with June last year.
Strong traffic figures in June show that customers value SAS’s offer for both business travel and leisure travel, says CEO Rickard Gustafson in a press release.
A total of 2.7 million passengers traveled with SAS in regular scheduled services, an increase of 0.5 percent. Charter traffic fell by 3.3 percent to 200,000 passengers.
