In October, 1.4 million passengers flew with SAS. That is an increase of over 130% from the same month last year.
In the same period, SAS doubled its capacity, according to a stock exchange announcement from the company published on Monday.
The passenger cabin factor, i.e., how full the planes are, increased by 23%, to 62%.
“It is positive to see that the number of passengers continues to increase even after the summer season and that ticket sales are also increasing,” CEO Anko Van der Werff stated.
From September to October this year, the increase amounted to over 250,000 passengers.
