SAS has sent layoff notices to 100 pilots and just as many cabin crew in Norway, reports Dagbladet.

The reason is that the airline, like so many airlines and companies, has been hit hard by the coronavirus and the stringent measures taken in the fight against it.

“This is part of the reduction measures we have announced. With the development we have seen in air traffic, we cannot avoid that this also affects our staff,” says press officer John Eckhoff to the newspaper.
