The majority of the political parties in Stavanger have agreed that several restaurants in the city can reopen for business on Wednesday.

In order to reopen for business, the restaurant must offer food but there is no obligation for customers to dine in. The food must also be prepared on site or the business was serving food before the outbreak of Covid-19.

“It is quite possible to enter into collaboration with restaurants and takeaway places and bring the food in,“ said Frode Myrhol of the People’s Action against more road tolls Party (FNB) to the Stavanger Aftenblad.

Several restaurants in Oslo will also reopen on Wednesday after being closed for a period during the coronavirus outbreak.
